EQUIPMENT REPAIR SERVICE

Repairing or upgrading your pool equipment

can significantly enhance the efficiency, safety, and enjoyment of your swimming pool.

From advanced filtration systems to energy-efficient pumps and automated controls, there are several options available to modernize your pool setup.

enhance Your Pool Experience with Equipment Upgrades

Keeping your pool in top condition goes beyond regular maintenance; it involves upgrading your equipment to ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety.

Whether you’re looking to save on energy costs, improve water quality, or streamline maintenance tasks, investing in modern pool equipment can elevate your swimming experience. Here are some key upgrades to consider:

  • VARIABLE SPEED PUMPS

Traditional single-speed pool pumps can be energy hogs, consuming more power than necessary. Upgrading to variable speed pumps allows you to adjust the pump’s speed according to your pool’s needs, resulting in significant energy savings. These pumps operate more quietly and efficiently, reducing both your electricity bills and environmental impact.

  • ADVANCED FILTRATION SYSTEMS

Upgrading your pool’s filtration system to a high-efficiency model can greatly improve water quality while minimizing maintenance requirements. Cartridge and diatomaceous earth (DE) filters offer superior filtration compared to traditional sand filters, capturing even the smallest particles and contaminants. Investing in a quality filtration system ensures crystal-clear water for a pristine swimming experience.

  • ENERGY-EFFICIENT HEATER

If you have a heated pool, upgrading to an energy-efficient heater can slash your heating costs while maintaining optimal water temperature. Consider investing in a heat pump or solar heater, both of which harness renewable energy sources to heat your pool efficiently. These eco-friendly options not only reduce your carbon footprint but also provide long-term savings on heating expenses.

  • AUTOMATED CONTROLS

Streamline pool maintenance and operation by installing automated control systems. These smart devices allow you to remotely monitor and adjust various pool functions, such as temperature, lighting, and filtration, using your smartphone or tablet. By automating routine tasks, such as scheduling pump operations and adjusting chemical levels, you’ll enjoy greater convenience and peace of mind.

  • LED LIGHTING

Upgrade your pool’s lighting system to energy-efficient LED lights for enhanced ambiance and cost savings. LED lights consume less energy, last longer, and offer customizable colors and effects to create the perfect atmosphere for evening swims. Not only do LED lights enhance safety by improving visibility, but they also add a touch of elegance to your pool area.

  • SAFETY FEATURES

Ensure the safety of swimmers by installing modern safety features, such as pool alarms, safety covers, and anti-entrapment devices. Upgrading to compliant safety equipment not only provides peace of mind but also helps prevent accidents and injuries, especially for families with children or pets.

What is a Salt Chlorine Generator?

A salt chlorine generator, often referred to as a saltwater pool system, is a technology that uses electrolysis to produce chlorine gas from salt dissolved in the pool water. This eliminates the need for manual addition of chlorine and reduces the use of harsh chemical additives in swimming pools.

How Does it Work?

Salt Dissolution

Salt (NaCl) is added to the pool water. The concentration of salt required is relatively low, around 2,500 to 4,000 parts per million (ppm), which is much less salty than seawater.

Electrolysis

The pool water then passes through a salt chlorine generator cell with electrically charged metal plates (electrodes). When an electric current is applied to these electrodes, electrolysis occurs.

Chlorine Production

Through electrolysis, the salt in the water is split into sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl). The chlorine then dissolves in the water, forming hypochlorous acid and hypochlorite ions

Sanitization

The chlorine produced by the salt chlorine generator effectively kills bacteria, algae, and other contaminants in the pool water, keeping it clean and safe for swimming.

Benefits of Salt Chlorine Generators

Continuous Chlorine Production

The system continuously generates chlorine, maintaining a consistent level of sanitation in the pool.

Reduced Maintenance

Salt chlorine generators automate chlorine production, reducing the need for manual testing and chemical additions.

Gentler on Skin and Eyes

Saltwater pools are typically gentler on the skin and eyes compared to pools treated with traditional chlorine chemicals.

Cost-Effective

While the initial investment in a salt chlorine generator may be higher, it can reduce long-term costs associated with purchasing chlorine chemicals.

Maintenance Tips

Monitor Salt Levels

Regularly check and maintain the salt concentration in the pool to ensure optimal performance of the generator.

Clean the Generator Cell

Periodically inspect and clean the generator cell to remove any mineral deposits that can accumulate on the electrodes.

Check pH and Alkalinity

Although a salt chlorine generator reduces the need for chlorine monitoring, it's essential to regularly test and balance pH and alkalinity levels in the pool.
